The Future Climate Venture Studio identifies and supports startups addressing the most critical aspects of the climate challenge, including decarbonization, alternative energy, and more. It is led by the University of Connecticut, CT Next, R/GA Ventures, and others committed to bolstering the state of Connecticut’s commitment to climate innovation.
The 12 startups we recruited represent a wide range of industries, including agriculture, bioplastics, building materials, insurance, investing, and more — highlighting the breadth of solutions needed to address this problem.
I led the creation of the studio brand and the creative work with the studio’s startups.

Urban Stalk

Urban Stalk is creating hyper-local and circular vegetable supply chains that are powered by a unique vertical farming technology. The Urban Stalk pods recirculate resources multiple times to reduce the carbon footprint of farming and allow for produce to be grown at or near the point of sale.
Our team reinvented their brand: their value proposition, positioning, messaging, and visual identity.
