Microsoft Windows 8 Times Square Takeover

Helping Microsoft create a first-of-its-kind experience in Times Square

  • For the launch of Windows 8, we helped Microsoft create a groundbreaking takeover of Times Square in New York City. 39 of the most prominent digital screens were synced together for the first time, helping over 2 million visitors discover the new operating system in an unforgettable way.

On the ground, live activations allowed visitors to experience the technology firsthand. Each night, spectacular digital murals were created at the street-side stations and then displayed on the massive signs for the entire city to see.

The launch helped generate tens of millions of social impressions and set a new standard for how Times Square could be used in the future.
